When you approach the Junk Yard, the first thing you’ll notice is the sound. The pumping, reverberating sound of corrugated metal bouncing across the wooden supports of our Rum Shack. You’ll experience the best in underground music, blaring through the subs, from our talented resident DJs. With a wide selection of tasty rums, and our friends at Red Bull will be bringing the décor, you may find yourself spending much of the day here…
In loving memory of Ben Rees, a talented DJ and events co-ordinator for the Students’ Union, we bring you the WORLD’S BIGGEST (yes, biggest) Bouncy Castle! To make this even more wild, there will be DJs playing you tunes as you bounce, from our best and most popular brands, Sink & Rise. We also have our special Decks On The Beach cocktail at the Beach Bar here to quench your thirst after your bounce.

DJ EZ (Pronounced DJ EEE ZED) is widely regarded as being one of the best DJs to grace planet earth, he can only be described as a charming music phenomenon. Saluted by the industry for being one of the most creative mixers with instinct and technical prowess, not forgetting the mentions of owning one of the quickest fingers in the trade with his trademark cue action displays during his sets! A set of decks simply isn’t the same without DJ EZ.

Lethal Bizzle first exploded onto the British music scene in 2003 as part of More Fire Crew, whose debut single, the Garage anthem Oi, charted at no. 7 in the UK singles charts. Since then as a solo artist he has released three albums and twenty singles, including the Grime anthem Pow (Forward); become a MOBO award winner; and embarked on two sold out headline tours in addition to supporting the likes of The Enemy and Babyshambles on tour, performing regularly on the UKfestival circuit and appearing at the final Live 8 concert in 2005. Kelli-Leigh is a star in the making, having worked with the likes of Duke Dumont, Jax Jones, Second City and James Hype to create some of the past 4 years biggest tunes, she has now stepped out into the world as a solo artist, releasing her debut single ‘Do You Wanna Be Loved Like This?’.
Hailing from South London, this singer. songwriter and producer has 2018 in her sights as she looks to step out from the shadows and take control of the airwaves.

Holy Home Video are a folk duo from Swansea, who have spent the last year playing all over the UK and recently released their single A Love So Sweet (I Can Taste It) which has since been featured extensively on BBC Radio. You may also recognise them as hosts of JCs Bar Open Mic Night every Tuesday. If you’re into tight harmonies and country vibes, be sure to catch them!
